Hi, I’m Ryan.

I was born in Teveren, Germany, doomed since birth to never be your President. I grew up in between Blankenese and Oakland, CA during my formative years.

I studied at some university in Boston and attended another nearby for law school.

I interned at an architectural firm from 2005-2006, working mainly on zoning laws, urban development policy and planning. I did something similar in Indonesia until 2009.

I moved back to the United States and just passed the CA bar where I now focus on law and technology, including intellectual property rights, patent and copyright law, and information strategy.

(I swear I’m more interesting than this. I also don’t start every sentence with “I”.)

• EC Comics/Noir Comics from the post-WWII era (Gould’s Dick Tracy from the ’30s is a favorite of mine too)
• Baseball, the San Francisco Giants
• Charles Bukowski and radio broadcasts of his work read by the man himself
• Civil War reenactments and related trivia
• J/K-pop, novelas
• SciFi, shows that take place in outer space and/or the future - Star Wars, Star Trek, BSG (from the late 70’s) and BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25TH CENTURY
